Bazi does not predict your future. It describes the hand you are working with — how strong your Day Master is, what feeds it, what drains it, and when the structure shifts. Understand that, and a hard decision has something to stand on.
How Bazi reads it:Read from element balance and the Ten Gods: whether your structure pushes forward or grinds, which directions lend you force and which drain you.
How Bazi reads it:Read from Luck Pillars and annual pillars: which decades push, which years are better spent holding. The same pillar lands differently on different charts.
How Bazi reads it:Read from the natal structure: not fate — your default way of responding. Once you see it, you have a choice.
Free, two minutes. You will get the four pillars, element balance, Ten Gods and Luck Pillars — the ground everything else is read from.

Day Master strength, element distribution, dominant Ten Gods, branch clashes and combinations.
Then read it against what you actually want to know: direction, timing, or a recurring pattern.
Day Master strength, Ten Gods, career, wealth, relationships — with classical citations. One payment, permanent.
This year against your chart, month by month, plus decision windows.

It helps you see the tendencies, not make the choice. It will tell you which environment matches which part of your chart — where you flow, and where you would be spending energy against your own structure. The choice stays yours.
No, and nobody can. Anyone quoting you a success rate is selling certainty. What we can do is say whether the move runs with your structure or against it, and when resistance is lower.
Cast it with your best estimate. If the hour pillar changes when you shift the time by an hour, then that part of the reading is provisional — the article on hour pillars shows you how to check.
No. The chart is fixed; what you do with it is not. The same chart is an excuse for one person and a manual for another.
Bazi (八字, "eight characters") maps a birth moment onto four pairs of a Heavenly Stem and an Earthly Branch — year, month, day, and hour. It has been a documented practice in China for over a thousand years.
Western astrology works from planetary positions and the zodiac belt. Bazi works from the Chinese solar calendar and the Five Elements — no planets, no houses.
Your clock time is in your birth time zone, and traditional practice uses true solar time — the sun's actual position where you were born. Ignoring it can move your hour pillar, and occasionally your day pillar, into the wrong slot.
It corrects clock time for your distance from the centre of your time zone, plus the seasonal equation of time (roughly ±16 minutes across the year). Most free calculators skip both. We apply both and show the exact correction.
No. Bazi is a cultural and interpretive tradition, not a predictive science. It describes tendencies and classical categories — not what will happen, and never medical, legal, or financial advice.
